Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants against four people, including former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman, in connection with the shooting of Amir Hossain, who was hanging from a rooftop ledge in Rampura during anti-discrimination student movement in 2024.

A three-member tribunal headed by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder passed the order on Sunday after hearing the petition.

The other accused are former Khilgaon Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Md. Rashedul Islam, former Rampura Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moshiur Rahman, and former Sub-Inspector (SI) Tarikul Islam Bhuiyan.
