, Sept. 28 -- Police recovered the body of a 23-year-old man from a fish enclosure in Rupsha upazila of Khulna on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Bappi, also known as 'Kalam Bappi', son of Akbar Ali of Alaipur area.

Police recovered the body around 6:30am from a fish enclosure owned by Biplob Pal in Mominbagh area of No. 3 Naihati Union.

Khulna District Superintendent of Police Sarkar Omar Faruk said the body had gunshot wounds as well as injuries apparently caused by sharp weapons.

The body was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Police are investigating the incident, the SP said.
