Young woman 'gang-raped' after being confined for 13 days along Sylhet border; one held
Sylhet, Sept. 3 -- A young woman was allegedly gang-raped after being confined for 13 days at a house along the Kanaighat border in Sylhet after she was pushed back into Bangladesh from India.
Police arrested Naim Uddin, 22, son of Abdur Rahman Dalu of Dana Pattipara village in Kanaighat upazila, on Wednesday in connection with a case filed over the incident, said Kanaighat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aminul Islam.
