Dhaka, June 21 -- Ambassador of Sweden to Bangladesh Nicolas Weeks on Sunday met Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Dr Shafiqul Rahman, where women's participation in the workforce was highlighted as a key factor for sustainable growth.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Bangladesh's current situation and reform priorities.

Independent institutions and a strong judiciary, resilient finance and banking sectors, and aspects of the national budget were discussed as important for investment, jobs, and a smooth LDC graduation, said the Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.
