Madaripur, July 11 -- A woman who escaped from police custody by breaking the grill of a temporary holding room at Madaripur Sadar Model Police Station has been rearrested from Keraniganj in Dhaka on Saturday.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madaripur Sadar Model Police Station Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the arrest at noon.

The woman, identified as Hasina Begum, 35, is the daughter of Habi Hawlader of Thantali area under Madaripur municipality and the wife of Al-Amin of Kalaimara village in Jhaudi Union of Madaripur Sadar upazila.
