Kushtia, July 1 -- A young man who have been wandering in different parts of Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia in an apparently mentally unstable condition for nearly five years has finally been identified as a Nepali national.

According to locals, the man entered Bangladesh through the Jalangi border from India around five years ago. Since then, he has been roaming different areas, including Islampur in Philipnagar union, of Daulatpur.

He is currently being cared for by local electronics mechanic Palash Ahmed who has provided him with shelter, medical treatment and daily necessities on humanitarian grounds for several years.
