NEW YORK, Aug. 10 -- U.S. military jets intercepted two civilian airplanes flying in restricted airspace near President Donald Trump's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Sunday.

"NORAD F-16s intercepted multiple general aviation aircraft today that violated temporary flight restrictions over Bedminster, NJ. All aircraft were safely escorted out of the area by NORAD aircraft," said the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which patrols this area, in a post on social media platform X.

Trump was at his Trump National Golf Club this weekend.

Local media outlets reported that two civilian airplanes were intercepted by military jets.
