Dhaka, Sept. 12 -- Two young men sustained bullet injuries on Thursday night in the Jhilpar area under Shahjahanpur Police Station in the capital, reportedly over a dispute related to drug dealing.
The incident occurred around 8:15pm.
The victims - both aged 24 - were rescued with bullet wounds and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at approximately 11:15pm.
One of the injured, Bishal, is a Laguna driver by profession and the son of Nasir Uddin Howlader from Gopalnagar village in Cumilla's Brahmanpara upazila.
The other victim, Robin, is the son of Kamal from the Surganj area under Nawabganj Police Station in Dhaka district. He resides in the Bagicha area of Shahjahanpur.
