Dhaka, June 29 -- The government has taken punitive action against two employees of the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys after corruption allegations against them were found to be true.

According to sources at the Ministry of Land, Muhammad Wahiduzzaman, former copyist-cum-bench assistant of Rangpur Sadar upazila, currently posted at the Bera Settlement Office in Pabna, was dismissed from service after an investigation found the corruption allegations against him to be true.
