Dinajpur, May 28 -- Two children were killed and three others including their mothers were injured after a CNG-run auto-rickshaw crashed into a truck in Kanagari Bazar highway area of Dinajpur's Ghoraghat upazila early Thursday

The deceased were identified as Abdullah, 4, son of Mohammad Shamsul Haque of Rashidpur village in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat, and Arifa, 4, daughter of Al Amin of Baro Aria Matikata village in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur.

Officer-in-Charge of Ghoraghat Police Station Shahidul Islam said two families were going to relatives' homes in Bhaduria area of Nawabganj upazila in Dinajpur after travelling from Dhaka by coach.
