Lakshmipur, April 2 -- Three students were injured on Thursday when the ceiling of a classroom collapsed at Raipur Janakalyan Multipurpose High School in Lakshmipur during lessons.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm during a sixth-grade class.
The injured students, Ritu Banik, Nadia Akter, and Samia Akter, were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex for treatment.
Students said a section of the plaster and beams fell while the class was ongoing, causing panic. Footage from the classroom CCTV shows the ceiling collapse and students rushing out to safety. The injured were later rescued and taken to hospital.
