Chandpur, Sept. 25 -- A teacher and an office assistant of Matlabganj Pilot Girls' High School in Matlab South upazila have been relieved of their duties following allegations of making derogatory and objectionable comments about President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Facebook.

The two are Assistant Teacher (Bangla) Jewel Talukdar and Office Assistant Md Suman.

School managing committee President and Matlab South Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) KM Ishmam relieved them of their respective duties on Thursday afternoon.

The UNO also said a three-member committee has been formed to investigate the allegations.
