Dhaka, Sept. 27 -- turned-politician Tasnim Jara on Sunday warned that children stand to bear the brunt of the vandalism at Radda MCH-FP Centre in the capital's Mirpur, cautioning that many could be deprived of routine immunisation as a result.

Visiting the practically demolished health centre in Mirpur-1, Jara told reporters that children are now being vaccinated outdoors under the open sun, with some families turning back because of the crowd. "If any child's vaccination card gets lost, the problem could get even worse."
