, April 11 -- Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir on Saturday said Sylhet city will witness visible changes within the next two to three years through planned development initiatives.

"The government is implementing projects in a coordinated manner to transform Sylhet into a modern and attractive tourist city," he said while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with officials of Sylhet City Corporation at its conference room.

Expressing his vision to build Sylhet into a vibrant city, the minister said efforts are underway to ensure a dynamic environment, cultural diversity and strong economic activities.
