, Sept. 14 -- Four children died with measles-like symptoms in Sylhet division in the 24 hours until Monday morning, raising the total number of confirmed and suspected measles-related deaths in the division to 164.

They died while undergoing treatment at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital and Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital, according to a report released by the Office of the Divisional Director of Health, Sylhet.

Of the deceased, two were from Sylhet, one from Sunamganj and one from Habiganj. Three died at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, while the other died at Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital.
