Summit LNG supply resumes at 550 MMCFD after brief disruption
Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- Summit LNG Terminal has resumed supplying around 550 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) to Bangladesh national gas grid after a brief disruption caused by rough seas on Thursday.
The increased supply is expected to help improve gas availability for industries, power generation and other consumers, supporting economic activity and reducing pressure on the country's energy system, according to a statement from Summit Group.
Summit LNG remains committed to maintaining safe and reliable operations and maximising gas delivery within the technical capacity of the terminal and the national transmission system.
