Students to get free weekly access to July Uprising Museum
Dhaka, Aug. 11 -- The government has taken an initiative to open the July Uprising Museum and other museums across the country to students, with schoolchildren to be allowed to visit the July Uprising Museum free of charge once a week.
Prime Minister's Information and Broadcasting Adviser Zahed Ur Rahman disclosed the decision while responding to questions at a press conference on the progress of various government activities at the Press Information Department (PID) conference room at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
He said a day has been decided for students to visit the July Uprising Museum. Students from higher classes of schools will be taken to the museum under a government arrangement.
