Dhaka, Aug. 11 -- General Secretary of Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh Saiful Haque on Monday alleged that the achievements of the mass uprising have been lost and the unity among people weakened due to the government's lack of foresight, wisdom and its biased and wrong actions.

"The July-August mass uprising had sparked great hope for changes, but much of this hope has been lost because of the interim government's lack of wisdom and foresight. Division has grown instead of unity, and extremism has gained ground due to the government's mistakes and biased conduct," he said.
