Cumilla, June 15 -- Jisan Ahmed, a central leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student front of Jamaat e Islami, was shown arrested on Saturday morning in a rape case filed by a woman from Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla.

Jisan is currently admitted to the prison ward of Cumilla Medical College Hospital - even though police claim that no complications have been detected in his physical condition so far. However, as his actual health condition has not yet been confirmed, he could not be produced before a court.
