Dhaka, March 16 -- year-old man was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Azampur area of Uttara in the capital on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Parosh Mia Bepari, son of Hamid Bepari from the Madhyanagar area under Bancharampur Upazila. He lived in a rented house in the Chalaban area of Uttara.

Md Jamal Hossain, who took him to the hospital, said Parosh Mia worked as a day labourer. He was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle while crossing a road in the Azampur area under Uttara East Police Station around 10:30 am.
