Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- A Dhaka court on Monday put former Officer-in-Charge of Cantonment police station Md Rakibul Hasan on a two -day remand again in a sedition case filed over spreading anti-state and provocative statements on social media.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ishrat Jahan passed the order when DB inspector Jehad Hossain produced him before the court with a three-day remand prayer.

Earlier on September 24, the court placed former Rakibul on a five-day remand in the case.

Earlier, police arrested him from Rajarbagh in the capital in the case.
