Dhaka, May 19 -- A man has died after falling from the roof of a multi-storey building in Khilgaon on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman (45), who worked as a security guard at the building.

He was rescued with serious injuries around 11:30 pm and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared him dead.

Abu Taher, the owner of the house who brought Habibur to the hospital, said that Habibur went to the roof of the 6th floor of the house around 10 pm . After a while, he heard a noise and went outside the house and saw him lying down and could not say anything about how Habibur fell from the roof.
