Dhaka, Sept. 21 -- 4 lawmaker Gazi Nazrul Islam and his first wife have been taken into police custody for questioning following the recovery of his 2nd wife's body from a room of the MP's residence in the capital.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Tejgaon Division Mohammad Ibn Mizan said police went to the scene after receiving information and later called in a forensic team of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

"After completing the inquest report, we sent the body to the hospital," he said.

He also said the MP and his first wife were taken into custody for questioning in connection with the incident.

The body was reportedly recovered from a room at NAM Bhaban near the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital....
