Dhaka, Aug. 9 -- Film actor Ashraful Haque Don, an accused in popular actor Salman Shah murder case, has been arrested in the capital.

Immigration police arrested Don from the immigration area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday, said Airport Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamrul Hasan Talukder.

Immigration police first detained him and later handed him over to a team of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

He was supposed to fly for Saudi Arabia around 6:50 am, the OC added.

Salman Shah murder case is currently under investigation by the CID.

The case was filed with Ramna Police Station on October 21 last year by Salman Shah's maternal uncle Mohammad Alamgir.
