Dhaka, July 15 -- State Minister for Planning Md Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki has called for increased grants, concessional financing, technology transfer and stronger international partnerships to accelerate implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

He made the call while delivering Bangladesh's national statement at the General Debate of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2026 at United Nations Headquarters in New York, according to a press release issued by the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the UN on Tuesday.
