Sangsad Bhaban, April 19 -- Independent MP elected from Brahmanbaria-2 Rumeen Farhana on Sunday came down heavily on the government for playing down the fuel crisis all this time, pointing to the long queues outside filling stations. Why do we have to increase the price?

Rumeen said this in the discussion of the urgent public attention notice under Rule 71 in the Parliament.

While she was speaking, members of the treasury benches objected and made a fuss. Later, the opposition leader Shafiqur Rahman criticized the government party for this.
