Dhaka, Oct. 16 -- Director Rubel Aziz has been made the new vice chairman of City Bank PLC, following a recent meeting of the bank's Board of Directors.

Aziz is a renowned industrialist and entrepreneur with a long track record of contributing to the nation's socio-economic development through various successful industrial undertakings. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the UK.

Aziz currently serves as the Managing Director of Partex Group. His extensive history with City Bank includes serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from December 2011 to October 2016. He presently chairs the Board's Executive Committee of City Bank.
