Gazipur, Oct. 10 -- Armed robbers shot an accounts manager and looted approximately Tk 3 crore from a private car transporting cash for a mobile financial service distributor in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:30pm at the Karnapur area along the Sreepur-Gosinga regional road.

The injured were identified as Accounts Manager Himel, who sustained a gunshot wound; private car driver Lal Mia and Area Manager Farhad was injured. Himel was initially treated at Sreepur Hospital before being transferred to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
