, Aug. 20 -- The committee reviewing cases of promotion-deprived retired government officials has submitted its second report to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.

Committee Convener Zakir Ahmed Khan, also a former secretary, submitted the report at the Chief Adviser's Office on Wednesday.

Siraz Uddin Mia, Principal Secretary to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, was also present.

The five-member committee was formed on September 16, 2024, comprising representatives from the Cabinet Division, Public Administration Ministry, Finance Division of the Finance Ministry and Law Ministry, with Zakir Ahmed Khan as convener.
