, March 27 -- The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has launched an emergency response following the bus plunge at Rajbari Ferry Ghat, supporting rescue and humanitarian operations in coordination with the Fire Service and other agencies.

A total of 72 Red Crescent Youth (RCY) volunteers from the Rajbari unit were deployed immediately, providing first aid to the injured and assisting in transporting victims to nearby hospitals.

To strengthen the response, the BDRCS Youth and Volunteers Department at the national headquarters sent an additional eight volunteers to the site.
