Sangsad Bhaban, June 10 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday said the government will begin the recruitment process for vacant posts in different government offices as soon as possible to make public services more efficient and accessible.

He made the remarks while replying to a supplementary question from BNP lawmaker Abul Kalam of Cumilla-9 during the Prime Minister's question-answer session in Parliament.

"I would like to inform the House that there are a number of vacant posts in different government institutions. Filling these positions is important to make government activities more dynamic and to ensure services reach people more easily and efficiently," the Prime Minister said.
