, Aug. 23 -- Rangpur District Police and bKash have jointly organised a day-long workshop aimed at preventing the misuse of mobile financial services (MFS) in online gambling, fraud and other criminal activities.

Titled "Investigation and Prevention of Misuse of Mobile Financial Services," the workshop was held at the Police Lines hall room, with 45 investigating officers of Rangpur District Police taking part, said a press release issued on Sunday.

The workshop sheds light on how law enforcement can leverage transactional data to identify criminal gangs and bring them to justice.

Currently, 4,500 officials from various law enforcement bodies have benefited from these sessions held across the country.
