Dhaka, March 21 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes in parts of the country in 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places," said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the

country, it added.
