Dhaka, Dec. 28 -- Demonstrators demanding the cancellation of BNP's nomination in Mymensingh-10 (Gafargaon) set fires in at least 10 locations, including railway tracks, disrupting train services.

The incidents began Saturday afternoon along Shivganj Road in Gafargaon upazila and spread across key areas of the municipal town. Business establishments in the town remained closed due to the unrest. The fire on the railway track halted train operations between Dhaka and Mymensingh.
