Dhaka, May 13 -- The Finance Ministry has approved the full utilisation of allocated funds for several expenditure sectors of Bangladesh Police, including petrol, oil and lubricants, electricity, gas and fuel, and travel expenses, in the revised budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.

The decision was disclosed through an order issued by the Budget Branch-6 of the Finance Division on Tuesday.

According to the order signed by Deputy Secretary Nahid Sultana, the approval was granted following a request from the Ministry of Home Affairs, with a relaxation of condition No. 4 of Finance Division's circular No. 596 dated April 5, 2026.
