Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibly on Wednesday said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has begun pursuing politics based on tolerance and humanity and is working to build a safe and humane Bangladesh.

"People in Bangladesh who were previously unable to speak out have begun a journey from darkness towards light. Coming out of the terrible misrule of fascism, the Prime Minister has embraced politics of tolerance and humanity and is trying to build a safe and humane Bangladesh," he said.
