Dhaka, March 15 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended his greetings to the people of the country and Muslims across the world on the occasion of the holy Lailatul Qadr.

In a message issued on Sunday, he conveyed his heartfelt greetings and mubarakbad to Muslims worldwide, including the people of Bangladesh, marking the sacred night.

The prime minister described Lailatul Qadr as a glorious and blessed night, noting that the Holy Quran was revealed during this sacred night in the holy month of Ramadan.
