Dhaka, March 24 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman spent nearly 11 hours at the office on Tuesday, the first working day after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
He arrived at the Secretariat at 9:01am and left at 7:53pm, said his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.
Soon after arriving, the Prime Minister joined a series of meetings and carried out official duties throughout the day, he said.
He began the day with a meeting with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Later, he held discussions with the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment on key issues related to labour migration.
