Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's possible visit to India is emerging as a key test of efforts to move Dhaka-Delhi relationship onto a more constructive footing, with the two sides stepping up consultations but yet to finalise the timing of the visit.

"Everything, I'm reading - not only here in India, but also in Bangladesh - they are all saying possibilities. So I think these are all speculation in the absence of an official confirmation. Nobody clearly knows yet. However, there appeared to be interest on both sides in making the visit happen," a diplomatic source told UNB, stressing that India is ready to host the Bangladesh Prime Minister anytime.
