Cox's Bazar, Aug. 9 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reached Matarbari in Maheshkhali of Cox's Bazar by helicopter on Sunday morning to inspect the Matarbari deep-sea port and several other development projects.

The helicopter carrying the Prime Minister landed at a helipad near Matarbari around 10:52am, his accompanying Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon told UNB.

"The Prime Minister has reached Matarbari. He will inspect the activities of the deep-sea port and several other projects here," he said.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit received Tarique Rahman upon his arrival.
