, July 25 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday inaugurated the two-day National Semiconductor Symposium and the Biotechnology, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (BEAR) Conference 2026, highlighting the government's commitment to building Bangladesh's high-tech ecosystem.

The Prime Minister opened the conference at 10:00 am at the Novo Theatre in Tejgaon, organised by the Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Silicon River Bangladesh programme.
