, July 22 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday formed a high-level committee to review and address the challenges facing the country's textile industry.

The committee was formed during a meeting with leaders of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) at the Prime Minister's Office in the Bangladesh Secretariat, said Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Shiplu.

During the meeting, the BTMA leaders discussed the current state of the textile industry, its export potential and a range of challenges.
