Kushtia, Sept. 27 -- The Special Response Battalion (SRB) recovered a pistol, 15 rounds of ammunition, two magazines and a pistol holster, reportedly looted from a police station, from an abandoned spot in Kumarkhali of Kushtia on Saturday.

The weapons and ammunition were recovered during a raid around 8pm in Baradi village under Kaya Union of Kumarkhali upazila, Md Rezaul Haque, company commander (additional superintendent of police) of the SRB Kushtia Camp, said in a press release issued on Saturday night.

According to the release, acting on a tip-off, an SRB team raided the residence of Md Mobarak Ali, 70, in Baradi village.
