Dhaka, April 29 -- The Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat will receive a budget allocation of Tk 290.60 crore for the 2026-27 fiscal year, with Tk 289.90 crore earmarked for operational expenditure and Tk 70 lakh for development expenditure.

The decision was taken at the 37th meeting of the Parliament Secretariat Commission held on Wednesday at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad in the chair.
