Sangsad Bhaban, April 10 -- Parliament on Friday passed 10 more bills aimed at converting the ordinances promulgated during the Prof Muhammad Yunus-led interim government into formal legislations.

The bills were passed unanimously in the morning sitting on the 13th day of the first session of the 13th Parliament, as no amendment proposals were placed on the bills clause by clause, resulting in no discussion in the House.

The ministers concerned placed and moved the bills and those were later passed by voice votes. Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, presided over the sitting.
