Dhaka, July 6 -- member Palestinian technocratic committee said Monday it is ready to take over the administration of the Gaza Strip after Hamas dissolved its Government Emergency Committee and transferred governing responsibilities to the new body.

Committee head Ali Shaath said in a social media statement that the committee is fully prepared to begin its work once the necessary resources and capabilities are provided. He stressed that its success depends on having "one authority, one law with a clear mandate, and one armed force" under a single governing body.
