, Sept. 14 -- Security personnel at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) detained an outsider on Sunday night for allegedly harassing a female student on campus.

The security staff detained 27-year-old Anarul Mia in front of the university's teachers' quarters and took him to the Proctor's Office. He was later handed over to police.

Victim said Anarul followed her on a motorcycle while she was returning to her dormitory after a tutoring session. At one point, he stopped his motorcycle, asked for her mobile phone number and proposed becoming friends. He also allegedly made several indecent remarks.

The student then informed her friends about the incident over the phone. University security personnel subsequently arrived...
