Sangsad Bhaban, June 28 -- Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Dr Shafiqur Rahman on Sunday said not a single person but the 18 crore people of the country were the masterminds of the 2024 July mass uprising.

"We do not accept that there was a single mastermind behind this movement. We want to give credit to our young generation. The real mastermind is 18 crore people of Bangladesh," he said while speaking on a point of order in Parliament.
