, Sept. 1 -- There is no scope to postpone the upcoming national election scheduled to be held in early February next, said Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul on Monday.

"According to the government's declaration, the national election will be held by February. We are determined to hold the election in February. The Election Commission has been instructed accordingly and necessary preparations are underway," he told reporters at the Secretariat.
