, April 2 -- Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood on Thursday told Parliament that there is no electricity shortfall against demand though occasional outages occur during peak hours in summer due to multiple reasons.

The Minister said this while replying to a scripted question from treasury bench lawmaker SM Jahangir Hossain (Dhaka-18) during the question-and-answer session.
